NaNoWriMo 2009: Day 24
NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month - aka 'write 50,000 words in 30 days' - aka 'ARGH AM I INSANE?'
Writing went pretty well today, even with stress from work this morning and a tennis match to watch.
And literally just before midnight, I finished my original fic! It's all done - yes, I finally figured out an ending!
Rest of November will now just be working on my
reel_torchwood fic! (Which yes is going to count towards my NaNo total, it's November still after all. But I feel justified in that my original novel IS over 50k on its own.)
Today's Total: 2311
Target Daily Total: 1666
Breakdown:
Original fic: 1342
reel_torchwood: 969
This Week's Total: 7184
Target Weekly Total So Far: 5000 (Weeks will run Sunday-Saturday)
Breakdown:
Original fic: 5373
reel_torchwood: 1811
Overall Total: 53421
Target Overall Total So Far: 40000
Breakdown:
Original fic: 51610
reel_torchwood: 1811
Word counts are what is given in MS Word - for some reason if I used the 'word count verifier' on the NaNo site I get more! (Currently makes a difference of over 300 words!)
