I'm someone for whom 'geek' has never been an insult - yes I'm a huge geek, I always have been, and I expect I always will be. I don't see a problem with that.

Grew up in Scotland (not far from Glasgow but you wouldn't know that from my accent), but now live and work in Hertfordshire - although if I lived about a mile further north I'd be in Cambridgeshire.

When I'm not working I can usually be found either doing something with friends from work, writing fanfic (or trying to) or chatting online to one of the many international friends I've made over the years (the last of these probably hasn't helped my rather chronic insomnia!)

In the last few months I've also developed a bit of an addiction for the West End (or anywhere else they put on shows...) - mostly musicals but don't be surprised to find me at a play or two as well. Final tally for 2009 is 23 musicals, 2 plays, 2 concerts, 1 gig, 1 stand up show, 1 preview screening, 2 pantos and 3 conventions. For comparison, in 2008 I went to 3 musicals and a Bon Jovi concert.

Booked/Attended so far for 2010: 10 musicals, 3 plays, 1 gig, 1 concert, 3 conventions, 1 panto. With plans for at LEAST 3 more musicals. Probably more.
